Jake Mitchell

As a driven sophomore (class of ’27), I maintain a 4.360 GPA and rank 1st in my class. I earned a 1440/1520 on the PSAT (including a perfect math score). On the mat, I wrestled at 165 lbs. during the 2024–2025 season. Although I had a difficult start, I was able to take an honest look at my shortcomings, make corrections, and qualify for the Colorado State Championships. Wrestling has helped me develop the grit and tenacity that fuel my aspiration to become a state champion. Off the mat I love to hike and activities in nature. When I am not participating in outdoor activities, I channel my curiosity into projects focused on 3D printing prototypes to hands-on mechanical builds. I take pride in mentoring classmates by sharing the study strategies that have underpinned my success. After high school, I plan to deepen these academic and practical experiences by majoring in biomechanical engineering.
