Jake Mitchell

On the mat, I wrestled at 165 lbs. during the ’24 and ‘25 season. Although I had a difficult start in ‘25, I was able to take an honest look at my wrestling, make corrections, and qualify for the Colorado State Wrestling Championships. Wrestling has helped me develop the grit and tenacity that fuel my aspiration to become a state champion. I carry that grit with me into all areas in my life.
Off the mat my hobbies include hiking and all kinds of outdoor activities. I enjoy working with my hands and building things.

As a sophomore, I maintain a 4.394 GPA and rank 1st in my class. I earned 1440/1520 on the PSAT (including a perfect math score). After high school, I plan to deepen these academic and practical experiences by majoring in biomechanical engineering.
