Your #4 Ranked Severance High School Girls Wrestling team competed at the Douglas County Tiara Challenge on January 17th and 18th, battling some of the top programs in the region. The Lady Silver Knights delivered standout performances, highlighted by Kailey McGuire’s fourth-place finish and Alisa Gonzales’ third-place podium run. Podium Performances

115 lbs: Kailey McGuire (4th Place)
Kailey McGuire entered the tournament with determination, racking up impressive wins before finishing fourth in a highly competitive bracket.
Champ. Round 2: Kailey started strong, pinning Kaitlyn Gettner (Calhan) in just 1:30 to advance.
Quarterfinal: She continued her dominance, earning a fall over Raine Brekhus (Cheyenne East) at 5:24, showing her endurance and skill.
Semifinal: Kailey faced undefeated Jaydin Cuevas (Prairie View) and fell by pin at 2:30 but rebounded quickly in the consolation bracket.
